Intec is a work based vocational training organisation which delivers Apprenticeship and Scottish & National Vocational Qualifications (S/NVQs) to learners in companies throughout the country.

Apprenticeships and S/NVQs are specifically designed for particular occupations and meet nationally approved standards. These programmes are for people who wish to acquire a job or industry specific qualification whilst at work.

Apprenticeships and S/NVQs are not taken as examinations. The work required to achieve these qualifications is competence based through ongoing assessment in the workplace setting. The achievement of these qualifications will contribute greatly to enhancing an individual’s skills and career prospects.

All of the programmes Intec offer are available to eligible learners regardless of age.
