If you want your business and your employee to benefit from Train to Gain call now on:

"Intec has developed an NVQ specially for us that covers Customer Service and Retail. The aim is to take staff back to basics by focusing on core strengths such as store standards and customer service. I particularly liked the fact that Intec could help us to develop our staff without taking them off the sales floor where they are needed. The qualifications are helping us to get the message across to staff about the fundamentals of retailing."

"The aim is to help people see the bigger picture and understand how the job they do impacts on the business as a whole. Many candidates have been surprised by just how much knowledge they have about not just their own jobs but the business as a whole. This ability to see beyond the limits of their individual job role is an advantage as it gives employees a much broader perspective on their work. The NVQ has highlighted the importance of customer service and given people greater confidence in their ability to deliver superior service."

NVQs were initiated as a way of upskilling key workers.

"The aim is to give staff a greater understanding of what they do, to increase skills levels and to embed these skills for life. A lot of the administrative staff have worked their way up through the ranks and we wanted to give them greater confidence in their abilities and reward them for their commitment to the company."

(Health, Safety & Training Manager)

"In a commercially aggressive world, businesses need to maintain their competitive edge. Having our employees with the appropriate NVQ ensures that we are operating at a recognisable level of excellence and are enjoying the commercial benefit this commitment is bringing us.

We have seen an improvement in our staff retention and overall morale. There is also the sense of teamwork from a shared experience and visible pride for those individuals from whom this is their first meaningful qualification."
