The government has set a target of recruiting 3 million Apprentices by the year 2020. The introduction of the Apprenticeship levy, that came into effect in April 2017, will support this initiative. Not in scope to pay the Levy?

If your wage bill is under £3 million and you are not required to pay the levy then the way in which Apprenticeships and existing staff development using accredited learning is funded will change.
